Abie Abdillah is a young Indonesian design who creates the particular old timer lounge chair design. The material to form the chair is rattan, the common material to manufacture furniture in Indonesia.  The name of the design is Doeloe Lounge Chair. Doeloe is read ‘dulu’ and uses the Dutch colonial time spelling. It means the past or the old time. The shape of the chair is inspired by the ‘oplet’ an old transportation means from the modification of Morris. The armrest takes the shape of oplet headlight.  This old timer rattan lounge chair with cushion design keeps the comfort within the design.
