Family House by Vangelis Lantavos
This is a project Family House North-West of Athens. Designed by Vangelis Lantavos, built on a land area of 336.44 m2. The houses occupy part of a rectangular plot with a medium slope, in the junction of two roads with mild traffic, on the foot of mountain Parnitha in a quite north-west suberb of Athens and very close to the Olympic Village. The area has been progressively developed the last years because of its key position which combines close distances from city centers, local organized facilities and contact with the natural environment. From the frontage, the entrance way follows a vertical path relative to the long elevation, and leading to the ‘arrival’ zone of the ground floor, placed 1.80 m above street level higher.
